I think what the big problem was, and still is for some people, is recognizing the difference between Hemi and HMGP. Especially those who actively expound upon the glories of Hemi and try to draw conclusions about HMGP from it.

One is an O&G company and the other is a pinksheet stock. One has a lot of potential and the other is in the toilet. I am not saying this dichotomy should exist or even makes a lot of sense, but it certainly explains the situation you and a lot of other shareholders have gotten themselves into.

In my opinion, the only person who can bridge this gap is Keith. Once he starts thinking of Hemi and HMGP as the same thing on something shorter than 5 year time scales, things will start to improve. Right now I think he is mostly concerned with Hemi and doesn't give a crap about HMGP. I don't think this is right with a growing O/S.

(my same old complaint repackaged)

I really am sincerely sorry to hear you find yourself in that situation.

I wish there were a way to guarantee when Hemi will come through and to what extent. But there's not. If we could guarantee it's paying off at a buyout within the time frame they've hoped for, you could leave it, ride out the rough spot, but come out with a better base with which to rebuild than you will if starting from scratch.

Tough spot to be in for sure...

I realize this is no consolation.

Don't think that I am unsympathetic with your situation, imshredin2. I think that there are a lot of us in the same boat... and I'm willing to bet it's a lot bigger than my grandpappy's old rowboat. I truly hope you find a way to ride out the storm.

I just want to make sure that when fingers are pointed and blame is cast, they are pointed at the right individual(s). In my case, the first finger gets pointed at the guy in the mirror... because I was dumb enough to fall for the load of horse crap shoveled out by some stock promoter on Ihub. Fingers can be pointed at the general pinky environment, the economy, and the list goes on. My wife is even on the list... she should have been more persuasive when she told me to sell...

Is Keith on my list? Sure, things could be done in a way to sustain a higher share price to make us stockholders happy... but then again I am smart enough to recognize this ain't no NYSE company... and I am not sure why some people continue to hold Hemi to that standard.
