I think in the market, it's definitely important to read everything twice, if not thrice. Especially before hitting the buy or sell button. And even more especially before ridiculing someone.
Even so, mistakes can still be made. So it's also important to practice humility in general and be able to admit when you were wrong without wanting to gag.
