I agree 100%. Stay away from penny stocks. Better money to be made on the big boards.

I actually am very happy with Scottrade and I absolutely love their Elite Trading Platform. You cannot go wrong with Trade Ideas. That is how I find all my stocks. Plus if your acct is over 25k they give you the platform for free.

Ive been hearing about staying away from penny stocks alot lately. Is it because its a greater risk trading penny stocks than it is big boards? Wouldnt the risk be the same for a big board stock and penny stock if the same trading strategy is applied?
