I'm praying, Mariner...if it hits Galveston we should get some moisture out of it.
We're in dire straits here. I watched a doe and her baby (past the spots stage) drink water out of my bird bath just 15 minutes ago. They're still in my back yard resting under a shade tree.
It's almost unheard of for them to come out in broad daylight - it indicates how desperate they are for water.
