It is very likely those "better techniques" are already in use. Complaints to regulators, "news" plants, etc, are all used by complicit shorts.
Agreed. But I don't actually have reliable first, or even second hand, confirmation (I don't consider Cramer particularly reliable -g-) so I hedged my bet. Note that, in contrast, I do have fairly reliable information that other companies play some of those games.
