brainlessone,
I want to be honest: I have a sincere interest in anything that is in the pipeline that might improve the lives of patients suffering from this horrible disease. Since my mom was stricken, I have seen a LOT of drugs that looked hopeful that ended up meaning nothing. My mom is 85, far too old to participate in experimental drug trials.
The ELAN drug may end up being effective (I hope so), but I honestly don't see anything there that I didn't see in other drugs that got my hopes up, then failed to deliver.
I know this hasn't been very helpful from an investment perspective, but it's all I can offer.
