I am most familiar with Chevron (CVX) and I know that the bottom line numbers will be record profits again. The downstream numbers will take a loss because of the higher prices of oil, but at the same time, the upstream numbers are through the roof, which makes the bottom line fat.
(Rephrase: I don't KNOW that because I don't know the results - but that is the expectation they have set with employees and with analysts)
