2001: A Space Oddyssey First good science ficton movie. Still good.

Star Wars - Pretty good science fiction movie. Also among the first good ones.

The Maltese Falcon - Good. But Bogie is most always good.

Patton - Maybe best war movie

Tora! Tora! Tora! - Good. The Pearl Harbor attack from the Japanese point of view. Or "How to lose a war on the first day."

Midway - Very good war movie. Or "In case Tora! Tora! Tora! didn't do it, how to finish the job."

Wings 1927 - I honestly don't remember any of the stars names. Be sure to get the original B&W. I think there is one of Turner's colorized monstrosities running around out there.
