GB..,I agree on the loss of $1 support can mean much lower after initial bounce...notice I think I mentioned a slam tp .75-.85 ...I have seen that numerous times and it can just as easily be what a stock needs (an enema(LOL) or shakeout)when it stalemates with support at a buck and will neither rise nor drop. Also GB...I love the wisdom of 20% or so profits...waiting for more can cost you dearly since most do not race on to 50 or 100% gains...once momentum subsides its either going to base and run or drop like a rock.20% gain locked in is intelligent trading. As far as a magic bullet goes..your concept is something I used years ago because I was trading this PPS range on rather low volume stocks and found them to be very lucrative yet usually not flashy...they just stubbornly cycle between 2 psychological areas...$1 support and $1.50 resistance...frankly I dont know why I got sidetracked from at least part of my watch being on this type of stocks...my bad.Years ago I traded GNBT...CTCH...ALAN(watch this one now BTW)..UBET...ATML...in this PPS area...there were others I am sure but I remember these well.I think that most were back around 2001 to 2004 timeframe so you can see I have needed my memory jogged for a long time(LOL)...thanx for the nudge in that direction GB.
GB.., since you caused my interest in that momentum scan I posted earlier I will post the results ....40 hits total..about half had positive trend change and I sorted them from highest trend change value to most negative trend value....I will try to explain the columns if you like later.
