Former BMC Software Executive to Accelerate Company's Growth within U.S.
Market

GLENDALE, Calif., Dec. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Panda Security, a leading
provider of IT security solutions, today announced that Gary Leibowitz has
joined the company as general manager for Panda Security USA. In this role,
he is responsible for managing all aspects of the Company's fully owned
subsidiary which sells and supports both corporate and consumer security
software products to the U.S. market. Mr. Leibowitz's extensive global sales
and management experience will be leveraged to accelerate Panda Security's
growth in the U.S., particularly within the enterprise market.

Gary comes to Panda Security from BMC Software, a leading global provider
of enterprise management solutions, where he most recently served as vice
president of Americas Marketing. During his eight year tenure at BMC he also
served as vice president, Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Channels and
Alliances, and as vice president of EMEA Identity Management Sales and
Marketing, where he doubled the customer base and increased revenue more than
30 percent year-over-year. While at BMC, Leibowitz spearheaded and managed
all aspects of the company's field and partner marketing in the Americas
geography, where he successfully created an Americas Marketing organization
that supported revenues in excess of one billion U.S. dollars. He was also
instrumental in the development and implementation of an innovative global
field enablement program. Prior to BMC Software, Gary was vice president of
marketing for New Dimension Software, which was subsequently acquired by BMC,
and also served as a director of product management at the company.
