Hopefully this takeout by Roche will not cause an exodus of brainage talent like the first go around, and the discovery machine will continue unfettered. The likes of Levinson, Desmond~Hellmann, Juelsgaard, Sheller and Yang, might take flight, retire from their huge DNA windfalls or accept their new roles with Roche.
Not to rain on the parade, but the slides I'd like to see would have QALYs-added on the y axis and then rev per QALY-added. Herceptin and Rituxan would contribute heavily to QALY-addeds, Avastin not?
