What has he ( or the company for that matter ) said and or done lately re the tech? Nothing? Gosh, does that tell you something? The biggest clue to this cesspool is that NVC cant get funding. Once a lender looks at the product, no one will give them money. ( and it looks like legit lenders were not even given the chance to look at the ' vapor tech ' ) No one , that is , except a lender that wants a huge chunk of the company etc etc etc. No tech, no legit funding. No tech, no company. No tech , hopefully lawsuits.

No, he did not. Dr. Chen's presentation discussed the ADSL market, new ADSL technologies, VDSL updates, CPE and home networking, and summarized the results of the VDSL olympics (in which Embarq obviously did not compete). Embarq was only mentioned in one slide entitled "Comparison to Embarq". the chart had some bars and axes labeled "distance" and"throughput", but no legend showing which bars are Embarq and what it was compared to. The chart was therefore pretty much worthless.

At no point in his presentation did he "vouch for the tech".

Chen was rented for the meeting to give a presentation to make it appear like NV had someone with knowledge behind them.
NV has always been about smoke and mirrors.

austin, I must say you have gotten some interesting replies to your question.... I would have to agree with MWL on this one as I was there.

Excel was not there.
IF spoke was there, and I believe he previously had stated he did not attend he did not make him presence known. But that's ok.
zzt was not there either.

Chen's presentation was quite "propellorheadish" I would be the first to admit. Yes, it did compare Embarq to other technologies out there today. However one thing to remember is that it did show Embarq's superiority to the other technologies in which it was compared to. I'll certainly take that as vouching for the technology.
