The "no brainer" is mistaking buying back a couple of shares at inflated prices as making any material difference in per share value. It WOULD make a difference IF the buyback made a material impact on the outstanding. This one will not.

IF they executed the reverse split... 1 for 3000... THEN it would matter that you put 10 million into a share buy back. With BILLIONS outstanding, putting a paltry 10 million into a buyback ONLY makes sense in that having done it (or announcing it and NOT doing it... yada yada... forward looking) allows you to sell $60 million in new shares while buying back no more than $10 million in old ones.

Note the PRs say they AUTHORIZED a reverse... but there is no evidence at all they have completed one... yada yada about forward looking statements, etc. When they've DONE the reverse, look at these shares... UNTIL then, they are setting you up to buy pre-reverse shares... and then have your ass handed back to you at a huge discount...

precisely why many have left UVSE for HGLC. Not to be off topic, but anyone paying attention should have seen how the UVSE sp reacted in it's big intraday dump a couple weeks ago when they said they would have to raise the AS. Then they missed the announced A/S increase Proxy date, an indicator they had something to hide. 1.5B is even more than I feared. Wow. RS written all over it.
Now here, I realize there are concerns and I'm not one to downplay the relevance of many billions in Restricted stock.
But my email from Mike Saner said that they agree that a reduction of the massive o/s held by insiders is in their best interests. This is new management. Let's give them the opportunity to do a lot of things. It may take a couple weeks to see the $10M settled and in company accounts to buyback stock, but I'll be here when it comes and in the meantime I expect this to hold it's support levels and hopefully get the Fortress .02 transaction done. I'm thinking by mid-August we will have many more answers about exactly what we own here in HGLC.
If anyone wants to hold off and see 008 hold and become support first, fine, do that. If they think this one may take a little more time, hence flirst with the lower 003-004 range again, fine, it's America.
I believe that Clay's chart is correct and I agree with all his levels and what he's watching for in indicators.
