Latitude has nothing of value to sell to a Chinese company or to anyone else.

Latitude is a tiny five man shop (Carolina doesn't count). This little mom and pop boat builder doesn't have the personnel in place to build very many boats. Orlando likely just made up the buyout story so Reg D stock could be dumped. The company has an ongoing one million dollar Reg D 504 hitting the market for a time period of 12 months.

It doesn't even own the boat molds it uses and the boats it is building are from molds for boats which were originally designed for center console boats intended to run inboard rather than outboard engines. The boats are really laughable. It is like they were rigged together from a parts bin that was supposed to be used on a different kind of boat altogether (the boats are very overpriced as well).

The company is worth nothing. It is losing money and has nothing special.

Talk to Kingbay. They have never heard of LTDI. Call them up and ask them. They were pretty surprised that some people on this board were trying to say they would have any interest whatsoever in a tiny operation like Latitude. When told LTDI had five employees and a woman figurehead CEO they laughed and asked why that would be interesting to anyone.

MBBLLEG you have cracked it,

PR-over 1000 employees,........1500
-more than 80000sqM,.........80000 + 15000
-Ningbo, China...............Ningbo, China
-boats.......................Hell yes

That's them alright, no doubt at all for me. I predict this deal will go ahead, oodles of green stuff available from this giant, no problem.

Well done sir!

Nice find. Link didn't work, but found site by direct type in. Two things I noticed about their present line offering; no fishing or patrol category boats offered, and the design of the others looked dated, much like the offerings in this country back in the 50s, 60s, & 70s. Maybe they resurrected a retired/deceased MFG designer. The addition of LTDI designed boats would fill the empty categories, and probably influence the design lines, and inefficient on board layout of those other craft. Looking good. GLTA LC
