Powering down is an issue if the grid capacity is reached by Noble and Laidlaw or Clean Power is operating. It then becomes necessary for the Laidlaw boiler or the Clean Boiler to power down and to stop producing the flow of energy as the wind blows (and it blows once in a while up here in ya'll mountains) How does the Laidlaw boiler power down practically and economically at 60 mw every time they must to avoid damage to wires? What do you mean that powering down is not an issue because of a steam turbine?
