#326 RE: belmontx #325

My investment that I lost completely was in the market some years ago, in a stock everyone said was amazing, they had an amazing product, etc. someone torched $60 million... and the investors never saw it again. oh well, live and learn right? The trees are a different ballgame.

Actually, I didn't speedread, I read quite carefully and I just happen to come to different conclusions than other people on this forum. Maybe I have more hope than you do, and thats what it comes down to, maybe I can inspire you to hope rather than dispair. If you are in dispair, then you really need to take a trip down there and have your questions answered. I'm not there yet, but I do intend to make a trip down before I post that TATF is lying or intentionally misleading people. I just think we all need to be very careful about looking at data that is incomplete before we come to any conclusions. For all we know, TATF is telling the truth and the posters on this forum are leading people away from a decent investment. Now, in my case, I haven't told my friends about it, but my family in general does have a vested interst in TATF. just so we can be clear here, I have 99 premium mix, 05 premium mix, 06 teak, 07 elite teak, 08 14yr elite teak. so... I have a vested interest in making this whole thing go.

I know you think A1 has outlined things well, and I believe he's really honestly tried to clarify things for people, but I'm not positive yet that the #'s are right. Ok, the teak may indeed not yield as much as TATF says. maybe it will, maybe it won't, but if you are that concerned about it, go down for yourself (i'm not only speaking to you, but other readers) and measure some of your older trees, and then someof the younger ones as well, and make a growth curve and find out of TATF is telling the truth or not. Don't rely on other #'s from other publishers that aren't necessarily local to Costa Rica.

Lets SBRUNNER to actually post how far Raleo is behind, and what he's going to do to catch up, and worry about that, rather than how fast our trees are going to grow. Let them things grow, and harvest them when they are ready. We get what we get, and if we get something from the thinnings, great, if we don't, I won't be terribly dissappointed, but because Raleo hasn't paid yet, doesn't mean that they won't.
