True but at the ASM Dr. Cox was asked if we could expect such partnerships in 2008 and his answer was uncharacteristically a bit vague. He basically said that these things take time and he does not want to make premature promises anymore as he had done with the ATryn US partnership last year. He then followed by saying that anyhting is possible but he can not promise...

My sense was that they are working on partnerships but they were nowhere near finalyzing these at this stage. One or more may happen in 2008 but not in time to rescue us from the listing issues...

Unlikely, IMO. The $60M is to develop the drug candidates that Merrimack already has, not to in-license new ones.
