So, do we agree on everything? No.
Biz and me agree on so much and he is my faithful and eternal brother In Christ, and MIB, you are an awesome example, at least to me, who I can see Christ, even electronically. hehe
I just read in my quiet time this morning in 1 John and it says "No one who is born of God will continue to sin......"
Now, do you really think this verse means in the flesh? Like, we have to be perfect. This is crazy. Heck no. We sin, plain and simple. God is concerned with deliberate sin, at least that is also what my study bible explains, and I agree with....
Are we made perfect in the Spirit? YES. Again 1 John 3: 24 partial...."And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us."
So, come on, if we want to disagree on something, fine, but let's try to fall short of suggesting one of us is not a born again, Spirit filled believer. Is it possible, Yes. He may even use one of us to bring that person unto salvation, thru the power of the Holy Spirit.
So, I love both of you. If I am wrong, go ahead, correct me, but love me, fellowship with me, be my brother, for all I want to do is serve the Lord. Please do not flog me. I know I have to carry my cross daily (Luke 9:23) but the flogging was saved for Christ.
