I agree it probably could be done, but with 2-3 feet of snow, better keep plows handy! Might pay a premium as well. I personally think Jan-Mar is not that doable, but if they wanted they could keep drilling until mid-Dec. They could get snow up there as early as mid-Sep (I've seen it), but significant snow maybe not until Nov and with that there will likely be thaws. I have been in the Lake Superior area just to the west around New Years a few times, and some years there is 2 feet of snow and long icicles off rock faces, and other years it looks like late Autumn with no snow.
