fair enough. they can vote in a dictator for all I care. I just want to impose some sort of choice or as you say a chance to define. rather than a midevil warlord state.
On the other hand I have stated that the politics and the religion choose the people and vice versa. there has to be some reason why all the countries in the middle east are dictatorships based on tribal loyalty. they like it, or anything else is so unstable that it gets broken down to strong arm vicious kill or be killed tactics.
Iraq is an experiment, a hopeful one, hopeful that people in the middle east really can have a political system that is not simply rule by gun and subject to ongoing constant treachery.
may not be possible. Clearly the shia and sunni, the arab portion are doing there best to shoot themselves in the foot.
