The message of both gives licence for disobedience and turns one away from the Lord. To be more precise—if you accept the false teaching of eternal security you will think you can sin with no concern of losing your salvation. You will think you can sin like David, when in adultery and murder, and still remain saved in such wickedness.
NOBODY that believes the Bible clearly teaches eternal security believes this, nor tells anyone else this kind of nonsense.
Statements like these are wild and tickling to the ears but bare no truth.
THe Apostle Paul clearly taught about the eternal security of the believer, as did Jesus Himself, but also warned the believers about sin, and noted that if one is truly born again, they will not desire nor want to willfully go around thinking that they have a license to sin. That is utter nonsense.
When I am able I will address this topic more fully.
This also demonstrates to me why you ahve a difficult with many things I have posted before.
BTW, a minor correcton from a previous post concerning location of Job. It was in what we would call EDOM. a land at that time that was controlled by Persia at the time but nevertheless, not in Israel and neither was he a Jew.
