the greenest thing is to cut motor transport. Efficiency and recycling have their place, but they are marginal. Tyres still have to be manufactured and motors still spew out millions of tons of gases. This technology is not the main event. Campaigners constantly point out that the only way is to reduce traffic and get into renewables.
