While possible, I think that may be a stretch. If they had a new CEO it would be incompetent not to announce it at the same time you announce NC's departure. Why give a false and very damaging impression that you are kicking out the management that has now irrevocably restructured the entire focus of the company from the JH days, and fail to say who will now be running the company other than that a search is underway? The timing of the recent disappointment IMO of a timely and successful New Panzem formula is more than coincidence. New Panzem WAS the visible future for ENMD and what I heard in the CC was remarkably underwhelming compared to my expectations from the preclinical animal work. It also left more questions than answers. So yes, the precise timing elucidation may be somewhat explained in the 10Q. But the 10Q is silent about why NC was not retained and promoted. It is rather urgent a new CEO gets chosen and announced soon because we're right back to a company being run by the Board with no operational CEO. An announcement of a credible, respected CEO choice would probably rally the stock and the stock has been hit because no such CEO was announced when NC's departure was anounced.
