The poison pill news today does not surprise me as management has mentioned that they are building a company to run it and not sell it. I wouldn't be surprised if another company has shown interest in buying them.
cfeist, i'm smiling as i read your post because i was thinking about that FRO chart just yesterday, and the harrowing dip it took before the major run.
for anyone doing their DD it appears DPDW is about to join the big leagues, and in no small way. as much as we talk about an amex listing around here, i see no reason they couldn't go straight to the nasdaq instead.
but before they get there i would imagine a few fat cats will exploit the OTCBB market's ability to load their boats via all manner of manipulation. after all, the private placement was quite successful, but i'm sure not all institutional investors who wanted a piece of DPDW got in on the deal.
so here they are now, knocking down the price and loading up more than a million shares in a single "sleepy" friday. we all know how quiet summer trading tends to be, and especially going into a weekend, so the irony isn't lost on me that they shook it when they did.
i hope you have enough dry powder to capitalize on retail's pain and big money's gain.
it's really good to hear from you, and i wish more of our lurkers would turn into regular posters. the more the merrier.
