I only own gold when it goes up. I don't care if its 200 or 2000$ an ounce.
The 2000$ an ounce folks might be right, might not, or might be "early" LOL and still go to their graves never having seen this come through.

Besides, oil might hit 2000$ a litre first LOL.

Anyway, the interesting statistic of this gold rally is one of longevity. Since gold last did a parabola, its only had three rallies, and those rallies were either 3 or 4 years in duration. This one is 4 years old. Will it grow to be older than a toddler or not?

Time will tell.
