NORTH AMERICA

Houston TX-based Blue Diamond Ventures announced it has made offers to buy three biodiesel plants in the United States and plans to construct a 100 million gallon per year, non-food crop biodiesel plant in Belize. The locations of the three biodiesel plants were not disclosed. The company says Texas A&M University will provide technical assistance to the Belize plant, where research will focus on second generation feedstocks for cellulose and biodiesel.
