mehitabel, that link i posted is not a comprehensive list of institutional investors. i'm hearing there are many more, and just the private placement alone suggests this. the trading patterns also indicate increased institutional volume imo, as we've seen plenty of large blocks -- recently one for 115,400 shares. that's $140K in one hit. today we're seen a few for 25K and 50K shares. that's the writing on the wall. some will be able to read it, others won't.
we should see updated numbers down the road, and a more complete listing. just not sure when, because it's not clear during what time frames they must report. jmho.
I think the answer to your question is that some here are speculating that institutionals are in control, but I don't think we have had a firm confirmation of this (outside of the ones already listed). There have been some very large bulk purchases on the ask nearly everyday in the last few weeks so it makes you wonder who is buying those. It's entirely possible (and makes sense) for larger investors to get into this on the ground floor, but until we have confirmation... speculation.
