BBQ, mobile phones will not embrace Intel's Atom as a main platform anytime soon. Apple and Rimm have announced 100 million and 150 million dollar funds to support apps on there Arm platforms not Intel's platform. No one wants Intel to dictate the price of the x86 chips. Been there done that. Arm processors pricing are much more competitive because everybody is trying to do it. There's Marvell, Qualcomm, TI, Broadcom, Nvidia, and Freescale. This is much better for the OEM's to get better pricing on chips, rather than have Intel dictate the pricing which happen with the PC business.
Your about to see alot of innovation with the iPhone SDK than what you see with PC going forward.
