HOW MUCH DO YOU LOVE JESUS

There are 3 levels of peoples love for Christ, which is the same as our love for someone else. That is why we see Christians act different in their relationship with Christ. It begins as a friendship and goes into a sensual love for someone, which turns into a love that you would die for that person. That is why Christ is coming for his bridegroom who loves him so much they will die for him.
John 21:15-17
-Jesus asked Peter three separate times the question, “Do you love me”?
1. Peters response the first time was, “yes I Philao you” meaning, yes we are friends.
2. Peters response the second time was, “yes I Eros you” meaning, yes I have erotic love for you.
3. Peters third response was, yes I AGAPE you” meaning, yes I have sacrificial love for you. Peter was saying I will die for you Jesus.

Revelation 3:15-16
-Jesus says that I perceive you to be neither hot nor cold so I will spew you out of my
Mouth. Jesus is not calling us to ride the bench. He’s saying, “are you in or out”?

John 15:13
-Jesus said there is no greater love than when a man lays down his life for a friend.
