for something that Tom agreed to.

Tom gave up the shareholders, to acquire
his empire of money losing related party
businesses. Tom will be fine in the end, the
shareholders, on the other hand, will not!

This never should be trading here as far as I can see. To trade for this low was some planned manipulation which should be illegal and those involved should be put in jail. IMO
