FYI A hammer would be a stick with a small body and a long lower shadow(tail) occurring at the bottom of a downtrend. It indicates that sellers were exhausted during the course of the day and buyers returned. Sort of what happens for example on some random date say.....3-17-2008 ($SPX daily). GG
