You could turn out to be right about Gold stocks holding, however, the following is decidedly negative news for the SA based stocks

While that would be bad news for SA miners, it would prolly be good news for North American producers via a higher PoG due to the SA producers prolly curtailing production on those mines that are already operating on razor thin margins because of the strong Rand and the HIV encumbered SA mining workforce.
