Spec, imo your scenario could be quite likely. Try this, they will drop the wings horizontal at DDI, wind 1 of the red umbilicals tight to the center of the SAM in the area shown by the red pointers. They will then 'retract' the wings into the position they are in now, the umbilical will ride coiled in the gap between the red pointers. The area marked by the blue glow is where the J-plate end will come out and will be tied to the top of the SAM, perhaps resting on the top of the wings. I could be way off base here too, just a possible idea. 3 umbilicals, 3 SAMs
