Hi Paul: A fellow day-trader! Like you, with rare exceptions I end the day in cash: bad studff tends to happen overnight. When futures, stocks or the markets break, the down move tends to be rapid, far more so than the prior upmove. When this occurs it may make sense to hold shorts, a small % only, overnight.
