Technicals is a world of facts mix with future probabilities. oversold/overbought indicators are very reliable IMO. RSI is also very reliable. Technicals are easier to spot in pinkies because of the wild swings and because pinkies are rarely afected by outside events. When a oversold indicator turns on the Momo starts, when the overbought turns on the momo ends. As simple as that. Resistance and support levels are also widely watched. For example I have SPRL. It run past the resistance of .0009. I knew that if it broke bellow support it would go selloff mode. I had a lunch/afternoon meeting and when I came back it was already at .0007. Needless to say I'm a (un)happy bag holder.
