The car only has 85,000 miles right now and the body is still rust free. I drive fast on long highway trips but evenly, while in the city I try to pace myself to catch as many lights as possible and avoid braking or accelerating hard needlessly.

Hi Bob
I agree, I have one that is 17 years old and now at 180,000, a 4-runner. Also a Honda Odyssey 11 years old and at 176,000.
They just recently, during the night cut out my catalytic converter while it sat on the drive way in front of the house though, on the 4-runner. A bit of a pain, interesting times, metal prices I guess make it worthwhile. It had less the $150 value though because '91's did not have the metals later models have but the 4-runners are easy to crawl under and cut them out.
Bob my '82 toyota truck had 267,000 on it and running fine when I crunched it and sent it away for parts.
