Echo Satellite Communications, Inc. (Other OTC:ECSC), a leading global provider of wireless, non-line-of-sight satellite communications products and services, today announced the $2.3 million sale of its residential security alarm monitoring business.
"Our core business is focused around selling our SatMAX(R) product line to governmental, first responder, and industrial customers," said Don Bresina, Chairman of ECSC. "Residential security does not fit the ECSC model."
Bresina continued, "Our SatMAX(R) product line has been getting traction recently with military and industrial users. SatMAX(R) works by forming a patented, wireless satellite communications hotspot allowing multiple voice and data communications links along the Iridium constellation network."
