The denominator is some number between 5 and 30.
I'd say the same thing on both "sides" of the debate. We don't have a correct number because we don't have the equivalent number of full time employees. Furthermore, contract workers may be high skilled hired for a few hours, OR unskilled hired for work that does not generate high rates of return.
Everyone is stabbing in the dark to support a point. It's hard to believe there has been as many useless posts as there have been.
