No, symbols may not be reserved for OTC securities, nor can we honor requests for specific issue symbols. Additionally, once a symbol is assigned, we reserve the 'right' to change the symbol should a NASDAQ applicant want to use it. I can't imagine there's too many people who would take the time to research old symbols before they purchase a new issue JMHO
