I tend to agree with him that a takeover currently is more likely than a partnership, and that perhaps that is the hangup because Cox and company are resisting...

It would make a lot more sense for a big company to pay somewhere around $100 Million for the whole Bonanaza instead of committing $20-$30 Million just to secure themselves ATryn US...

Dew, could GTC be sold without LFB Biotechnologies agreeing to it? Don't they own enough of the stock to prevent any other company from doing a buyout?

Why do you think that? T.i.a.


Because what company would want to commit money to another company that obviously can not manage itself well? A buyout would allow a more seasoned management team take GTCB places where GTCB can not take themselves now.

GTCB no longer has a goat's leg to stand on and a buyout is in the best interests of the STOCKHOLDERS right now and would Cox would be able to save face by negotiating a decent buyout price.
