b9, i just got off the phone with someone at dahlman rose. they said deep down is "on their restricted list", which means they can't actively solicit investment in the stock at this point, but they also said this status could change at any time.
you may find the reason for this action to be very bullish. i know i did. it turns out they do this when the investment banking arm of DR is working with a company. i'm sure you can put 2 & 2 together and see what's probably going on here.
the DR rep reassured me that they have not dropped coverage on DPDW, and also mentioned the recent FT deal. it sounds to me like they've never felt more bullish about deep down inc.
