Now you know this whole thing makes my head swim. It's a complicated mess. And this is just one subsidiary of many they have / had. LaSalle is the only KNOWN performing sub right now. Any others? Time will tell. Doubtful.
You might be interested to know, the whole thing collapsed because Trenwick America has exposure to The World Trade Center and 9/11. That was a huge insurance event. Trenwick was on the wrong side of that tragic event financially speaking.
