Not silly, but a very hot SKU, IMO. The best of the iPhone and MacBook Air, in a form factor just larger than the phone (the larger form factor isn't due to the processor, it is to accomodate a decent sized display).
The user's internet experience will mirror that of the MacBook Air (this is the downfall of the iPhone and BlackBerry's).
The whole idea of the smartphone is to give the user access to the internet and email. Aside from email, this has been a does-not-meet experience to date.
Devices of this class will finally meet this need. It will be a killer category, IMO.
