and news is just plain hard to get any of it on some stocks, looked harder, and found stocks with news on marketwire for instance...in the old quotestream.....don't get news on this new system, some do...some don't...even when marketwire is selected? yup

now i know this won't be popular, but i have taken to going to this place to get it the old way

i suppose they will get it figured, they acted on the multiple news select idea i posted a bit ago! that works great now!

Can you give me a a few tickers (got CTIX) that doesn't have news but should have filings?

thanks...when you ask for a quote for a stock that has had no news in a while & then hit SEC, the screen it takes you to says "No new news"...I don't want NEWS - I want filings! There should be historical SEC filings in the SEC link ie CTIX...and while you're at it, tell them Brits that "SEC" has a sinister connotation. I much prefer "Filings" instead of "SEC" but that's just me...

Thanks for GEBD & CTIX. I put together an email for the feed/news/SEC doods and sent it to them. If you run into any more, let me know.

There's clearly some bug in the system with associating tickers with news/SEC.

I think they're simply struggling with understanding how to process all the name/ticker changes. The 'globalized' platform (having feeds coming from every fricken exchange on the planet) is just un-standard-izable, IMO, with the US. You need a system to do the US, alone. And another to process all the others. Too many exceptions/weird things going on.
