Was listening to Bernanke speech--first time i have seen him at a podium. He was candid about labor numbers, saying they are lagging and said though on one level 120k new jobs a month would be needed to match new workers entering workforce for first time into the labor market; however, if one also measures people returning to the labor force then 330k new jobs need be created to keep unemployment simply in neutral. Now that is candid speak. Also on inflation while saying he feels confident about inflation being at 1.5% into future he said economics is an in exact science and he could be wrong. He was a very very stark contrast to SNOWJOB so much so he made SNOWJOB look like an evangelizing snakeoil salesman.
