I'm super happy you understand my perspective on this.

I have lived in many, many places....

But America has never felt much like home to me except once when I lived tucked away deep in a forest and life was very peaceable and INCREDIBLY simple.

Plus, my neighbors were FANTASTIC!!!!!! Real simple plain spoken folks. South Dakotans.

We loved them so much!

Generally, I thrive on the variety of life going on in other countries.

Here, it is dead and kinda stilted.

Even now, I find most of my friends are foreign born.

They are just happier people. More alive.

I didn't even realize that till just now.
