If they were "dumping" wouldn't they want to "dump" at a higher pps? Funny how you claim that announcing a distribution agreement is bad news...

you think this is lame-you obviously have no concept of the importance of glycol analysis in the oil and gas industry

If not properly tested one dirty component in the subsea system could contaminate the cleanliness of the entire subsea system. This would result in costly maintenance to repair the line and restore the cleanliness.

The new portable instrument analyzes glycol fluids and coolants in bottle sampling or on-line modes. True particle counting analysis results are delivered in less than 20% of the time needed for traditional analysis practices, according to Hach Ultra.

http://www.offshore-mag.com/display_article/323841/120/ARTCL/none/EQUIP/1/New-portable-instrument-cuts-glycol-analysis-time/

Ronald E. Smith, Deep Down's president and chief executive officer
commented, "Umbilical fluids used offshore are required to be nearly particle
free,
and call for frequent analyses. Until now, this analysis was performed
manually with a microscope and took up to 30 minutes per sample resulting in
many hours of analysis time. We are pleased to have been chosen by Hach Ultra
to market and sell these time saving units to the offshore/subsea market. With
the GlyCount(TM) liquid particle counter, these same analyses are completed,
in triplicate, within about 10 seconds.
The GlyCount(TM) liquid particle
counter is a natural fit with all of Deep Down's offshore services and
products as it saves time, provides reliable results, and helps get projects
back online quicker."

time is money in the oil industry!! big money$$$$

fullofstars, the cameras are as you mention IMO to let the diehard retailers keep close dibs on the action. But they also serve a function in that the workers I bet are very aware ofthem so may tend to work a bit harder knowing a bunch of investors are watching for slackers LOL.
So the cams IMO serve a double function, one to promote the company, the other to help production so I'm not gonna knock that idea.

That said, I personally feel this is a highly speculative company. IMO if their creditors decided to tighten up and say sorry we're not lending any more they IMO would need to dilute to stay afloat (quite soon with their current history of ARs outpacing revs growth and also interest expense per Q more than operating income per Q) so share price is important to their biz plan if they are to succeed (because of futrue dilutions- the higher the price, the less caustic to everyone invested).

They could really increase margins through synergies but so far I only see small improvements on that end and it is waaaay too early IMO to tell how that will play out.

These guys do some serious shotgunning from the hip, announcing a deal with a private company when they have almost no financing in place and the last financing for a smaller transaction hit shareholders IMO pretty hard (the warrants around 50 cents and the interest rate). But to each their own, some find this a highly attractive investment. I sure don't but wish them well as long as they realize the substantial risk IMO...

PS- I'm just here to look at the beautiful I-Hub board LOL and drool over its amazing color and overall attractiveness. Oh ya, I'm married. Scratch the drool part.
That's my view.

i know, i'm the dupe, the lead 'screenshot cheerleader', LOL! so the idea of the 6 camera sites being used as "a clever gimmick, directed at retail investors", happens to point right at me, A RETAIL INVESTOR. now, for the first time as a shareholder of any company i can actually see what goes on, day to day, into the night sometimes, with the Company i've placed my money on for a positive return. call it transparency that no other company is willing to share with their stockholders. call it giving us the opportunity to see projects being worked on before and/or after a Press Release referring to it's existence, something your other stocks haven't done for you. call it down right Share Holder friendly, something everyone complains about when they don't get it in even the simplest communication. i'm not going to feel like a crazy watching my investment in it's validity, cause the Due Diligence factor is UNBEATABLE too me.
