American Water Star Announces Product Introduction
American Water Star, Inc. (Pink Sheets: AMWS) is pleased to announce today that it will begin the introduction of its “Bartenders Choice” ready to drink alcohol drinks in a flexible pouch that it has been developing over the past two years. After completing all of its product development, testing, and operational logistics in 2007, the Company will begin taking orders from its customers next month.
“The initial response has been overwhelming and we are excited to begin taking written orders for production,” said Roger Molhman, AMWS President/CEO.
As a new product line, this new 200 ml pouch packaging concept, branded as “Bartenders Choice,” which is a line of ready to drink alcohol drinks of the six most popular adult beverages, including Margaritas and Daiquiris, and are uniquely blended formulations utilizing the “Best of the Best” premium spirits. This unique “No Bartender Needed” packaging offers consumers the ability to provide drinks for private parties, beach outings, and tailgating without the hassle and preparation required to serve mixed drinks. These drinks can be served “slushy” frozen to be sipped from the pouch or simply pour it “on the rocks.”
AMWS has positioned “Bartenders Choice” premixed drinks to be a leader in the adult beverage space. “Bartenders Choice” will be advertised as “No Bartended Needed” and “It’s in the Bag.” They will be distributed nationwide with heavy distribution emphasis on big box outlets, utilizing a 24 party-pack concept, and convenience stores for individual package, as well as food and drug chains. AMWS will be one of only two companies that will have access to this packaging, which provides limited competition. The pouch as compared to bottles provides real benefits to the consumer in terms of less cost, portability and longer shelf life. As an example, the shipping is greatly reduced with 40% more revenue per truck load, and the packaging is approximately one-eighth of the cost of resin bottles.
