Colin Powell: "He [Saddam] has not developed any significant capability with respect to weapons of mass destruction. He is unable to project conventional power against his neighbors."

July 29th 2001-
Condoleezza Rice: "But in terms of Saddam Hussein being there, let's remember that his country is divided, in effect. He does not control the northern part of his country. We are able to keep arms from him. His military forces have not been rebuilt."

its amazing how these people operate with absolutely no shame. and all of this is driven by the profit motive...i always go back to the fact they are enabled by the biggest hypocrates in our country,... the far right religous nuts who employ absolutely no critical thought.. whatever their masters tell them to believe they adopt even if it eventually will affect them adversely or even kill them... is that insane or what... and then they parade around waving the flag and trumpeting their phony patriotism.. to them, patriotism is endorsing war in the name of this same god they call the prince of peace..sick, its absolutely sick....
