I disagree. I believe that's the point Wright is trying to make with his church member. Obama could've taken the high road and stayed with his first released opinion.
Remember when Bush was asked about his previous drug use and he refused to comment on it? Obama might've been better off doing the same.
Obama was the rookie who stepped into this arena untested. His whole campaign is about NOT playing politician. It's now a fact that he does and most likely will continue to do so.
I think he's pretty much done now. If the Dems run him against McCain, I believe McCain takes the day.
